Don't you love it when nature cooperates! I had taken several images of the sunrise, got the boat in the picture and was ready to move on when a familiar sound hit my ears. Another photographer I was with, Gary Gardiner yells "Ducks" and I swung around and did a burst of about 6 or 7 images. As I held my breath and chimped through the images, I yelled "Yes!" as I saw the above image. It was a split second of warning, but I knew what I wanted and didn't trust myself to time it right. When out on a photowalk or shooting anything that might move in constant light, I always make sure my camera is set to accommodate the situation. It doesn't hurt to have a great photographer with you to act as a spotter!!
